«Children of War» Foundation held a children’s Festival for the International Day of Peace

On September 21, in honor of the International Day of Peace, the Children of War Charity Foundation held its annual children’s festival as part of the All-Ukrainian Fair of Folk Crafts. Children had the opportunity to share their thoughts during the Open Microphone session, reflecting on the victory and the future of Ukraine.

  • A special highlight of the festival was the planting of a Tarasova willow sprout — a symbol of Taras Shevchenko’s connection with his homeland — with the participation of poet and public figure Zoya Ruzhyn. The event featured performances by artists, including Ilya Mytsay and the Kanikuly ensemble, as well as poetry readings by children undergoing rehabilitation through the Children of War Foundation.

Children and adults actively participated in creative workshops and in the creation of a symbolic Ukrainian flag. All festival participants received gifts and thanks.
