From August 17 to 21, the International Ukrainian Charitable Foundation Children of War held a day camp featuring hippotherapy for children affected by the war and children of servicemen. The program was aimed at psychological recovery, emotional support, and physical rehabilitation through interaction with horses and specialized therapeutic techniques.
The camp program included:
- Hippotherapy – sessions with professional hippotherapists Serhii and Lina Komlev;
- Group and individual sessions with psychologists – led by project coordinator Olesia Dolina;
- Art therapy – creative activities to express emotions;
- Canis therapy – working with the Malinois dog Bariia under the guidance of dog handler Dmytro Kovalenko;
- Archery.
Over the course of five days, children not only developed physically and emotionally, but also acquired essential skills for coping with stress and anxiety. Thanks to the care of specialists and the support of the Foundation, these children took important steps toward inner healing and recovery.
Together we are building a strong Ukraine!
