Photo exhibition «Children of War»: a voice that must be heard

The creation of the Children of War photo exhibition became not only an artistic project but also a profound therapeutic experience for children and their families. Participating in the photo sessions helped the children express their emotions, reflect on traumatic experiences, and find inner resources for recovery.

The photoshoot became a safe space for dialogue, where children could speak about their feelings and experiences of war, knowing they would be heard.

  • The exhibition’s theme — children as participants in war — is a cry for help and a reminder of the urgent need to work with psychologically traumatized children who have survived bombings, experienced loss, or were forced to flee their homes.

The project was carried out within the programs of the International Ukrainian Charitable Foundation «Children of War», which combine psychological support with the rehabilitation of affected families. The foundation continues to implement initiatives that blend psychological care with creative practices, helping children overcome the consequences of war and find strength for the future.
