The charitable organization «INTERNATIONAL UKRAINIAN CHARITABLE FOUNDATION “CHILDREN OF WAR”» announced the results of the creative competition «My dream of a peaceful Ukraine», which was held from February 1 to June 1, 2025 as part of the charitable program «FOR THE FUTURE OF UKRAINE».

The purpose of the competition was to promote the development of patriotic values ​​and civic consciousness among children and youth, as well as to draw attention to the importance of peace for every Ukrainian.

Participants — students of schools, vocational schools and colleges — submitted their works in two nominations: poetic works and drawings. The competition aroused great interest, the organizing committee and the Foundation’s email address received a large number of applications from all over Ukraine. Each work was unique, sincere and full of talent. The jury had a difficult task, as each participant put their heart and dream of peace into their work.

Winners in the «Poetic works» category:

• 🥇 Gladka Sofia – 1st place, poem «It will be so»;
• 🥈 Iver Anastasia – 2nd place, poem «A dream that smells of honey and sunflower»;
• 🥉 Kovalev Demʼyan – 3rd place, poem «Thoughts about peace».

Winners in the «Drawings» category:

Older age group:

• 🥇 Lukashchuk Maksym – 1st place;
• 🥈 Prokhnich Elizaveta – 2nd place;
• 🥉 Konishchuk Anastasia – 3rd place.

Younger age group:

• 🥇 Chernov Mikhailo – 1st place;
• 🥈 Perevizy Varvara – 2nd place;
• 🥉 Zadorozhnaya Kira – 3rd place.

The ceremony of awarding diplomas and gifts will take place during the «Unbreakable Childhood» festival, which will be held on June 1, 2025 at 12:00 at VDNH (location «Shatro», Kyiv). We invite the winners to come in person to share the joy of victory with other participants of the holiday!
