Ten years of war have changed the lives of millions of Ukrainians. A generation of children has already grown up who, on this day, do not return to their schools — some of which have been destroyed — and some have even lost their families. Yet despite all the hardships, the dream of living in a free and independent Ukraine lives on.

• A hot air balloon, launched into the sky during a rehabilitation festival for the families of servicemen, veterans, and fallen heroes, became a metaphor for a happy childhood in a free Ukraine. It served as a symbol of victory and moral support for children who have endured the horrors of war.

Of course, in the context of ongoing hostilities, the balloon cannot freely soar across the sky — but this gesture gave children hope for a brighter future. The event, organized by the International Ukrainian Charitable Foundation Children of War, the NGO Unbreakable in Spirit Ukrainians, and the International Charitable Foundation Glory to Ukraine – Ukraine Above All! was an important step in restoring faith in victory and offering support to families.
