At the Municipal Art Gallery, together with the Desnianskyi District Social Services Center in Kyiv, the «Children of War» Foundation organized a warm and joyful spring celebration. The event brought together children and their parents — servicemen and veterans of the Armed Forces of Ukraine — offering them a chance to immerse themselves in Ukrainian traditions, fun games, and creative activities.

The staff of the Social Services Center prepared an engaging program featuring folk rituals, games, and competitions. Children enjoyed traditional dumplings (varenyky), participated in pancake races, and even had cheerful pillow fights.

• The most important part — everyone became a winner, as all participants received a boost of positive emotions and good spirits.

Our Foundation supported this event, as many of the children cared for by the Social Services Center also attend our support groups. Among the exhibition displays were artworks created by children during spontaneity development sessions: a composition of wool watercolor paintings and a piece titled «Tree of Life». A map of Ukraine made from seeds and wheat drew great interest, along with a collection of handmade dolls by Svitlana Shamenko, a volunteer from the «Seasons» Foundation.

To support the master classes held at the Social Services Center, our Foundation provided creative materials so that children can continue to explore and develop their talents.
