January was full of events for the International Charity Foundation «Children of War». One of the most significant contributions was the delivery of humanitarian aid to Klevan Special School № 2.
The school received:
- a massage table;
- hygiene products;
- a Sensoria Squeezer hug-compression therapy machine.
This long-awaited innovative device promotes the physical and mental development of children. Its soft rollers mimic the sensation of hugs, which aids in therapy for children with brain disorders, autism spectrum disorders, developmental delays, hearing and speech impairments, as well as in recovery after injuries.
The school’s specialists had long dreamed of such equipment, as it significantly enhances the effectiveness of the rehabilitation process. The «Children of War» Foundation is proud to have helped create new opportunities for the rehabilitation of special children and to make their learning more comfortable and effective.
