reports

Date of event: 15.09.2026

The European Boxing Championships took place in Sofia, Bulgaria, from September 15 to 26. Elvin Aliyev, a boxer representing the Kyiv region and the Ukrainian national team, defeated Frenchman Hugo Gros inside the distance in the final bout.

The Kyiv regional boxing federation gathered those who stand by the athlete on his journey—coaches, partners, patrons, and friends—at the Kyiv regional council. The team from the “Children of War” charitable foundation also joined in congratulating the boxer, as supporting athletes is one of our key missions.

We wish Elvin continued success and new victories!

Let's build a strong Ukraine together!
