From February 10 to 14, the Ukrainian Boxing Championship among youth and young women in memory of the Honored Coach of Ukraine Oleg Malovanyuk was held in the village of Boyany, Chernivtsi region. These competitions became an important stage of selection for the international tournament for the IV Summer Youth Olympic Games.

The Children of War Charity Foundation acted as a partner of the championship, the foundation’s team was present throughout the competition and personally supported our athlete, Mykhailo Sydorenko, who fought two matches at the championship and won.

Ahead is the responsible stage of preparation for international competitions, which open the way to participation in the Youth Olympic Games, which will be held in Dakar (Senegal) in 2026. Mykhailo has already begun active preparation for the next stages.

Supporting sports is one of the areas of activity of the Children of War Foundation. Therefore, we continue to support such championships that open up new opportunities for our athletes!
