The Ukrainian Youth and Women’s Boxing Championship has ended in Bila Tserkva. Among the country’s strongest athletes, boxer Serhiy Artemenko, supported by the Children of War Charitable Foundation, took part in the competition.

This year’s tournament was of particular importance, as athletes fought not only for the awards of the Ukrainian Championship, but also for the right to represent our country at the World Championship in Montenegro.

• Serhiy fought four fights and confidently reached the final. In the decisive fifth fight, he managed to defeat his opponent, take revenge for the previous defeat and fulfill the standard of a Master of Sports of Ukraine.

Despite the difficulties he had to overcome on his way, the athlete demonstrated strength of character, endurance, and true motivation to win. We sincerely congratulate Serhiy and his coach on this significant achievement and wish him to represent Ukraine worthily on the international stage!
